    Kid’s on Carnival often leave having had just as much fun as the parents, if not more. Kids aged 2-5 can join the Penguin Colony where they can engage in musical icebergs and ocean bingo.   • Are gratuities included?

    Depending on where you choose to sail will depend on whether gratuities are included or not. To make Australians more comfortable gratuities are built into your base fare, cruising internationally gratuities start at $13.99USD per person per day, depending on your stateroom category.

  • Are there theme nights expected on board?

    Cruises 5 nights or less will have an 80’s Rock’n’Glow deck party, cruises 6nights or longer will also include a Mexican themed night and a Caribbean/Island themed night in the dining room.

  • Can I bring alcohol?

    Alcohol cannot be brought onboard.

  • Can I bring any electrical items such as an Iron, hairdryer or powerboard?

    Irons and other heating equipment are not permitted, neither are powerboards. Hairdryers and other such equipment are subject to safety checks at boarding.

  • Can I bring bottled water or other non alcoholic drinks?

    No drinks may be brought onto the ship, you can pre purchase bottled water however prior to cruising.

  • Can I bring medical equipment on board?

    In most cases yes, to ensure your equipment can be used on board please speak with your consultant to arrange this.

  • Can I use my mobile while away?

    Mobile reception is available via international roaming, this needs to be set up with your phone provider. Your provider will advise the charge rates.

  • How do I pay on board?

    You can pay in cash or card on board. To use cash please see the pursers desk once on board. Alternatively your credit/debit card can be set up at check. You can also swap between cash and card if necessary. There are ATMs available on board that will dispense the ship's currency.

  • How much luggage can I take?

    For cruises less than 5 nights there is a limit of 1 bag per person, for 6 nights and longer the limit is 2.

  • I have dietary restrictions, can I be accommodated?

    Yes. Carnival can cater to most dietary needs, just let your consultant know and they can pass this information on.

  • Is there a dress code on board?

    During the day casual dress is ideal throughout the ship. After 5:30pm smart casual is expected throughout the restaurants and bars.

  • Is there a fridge in my room?

    Yes, staterooms are equipped with small fridges.

  • Is there a kettle in my stateroom?

    No, if you would like tea or coffee for your room, your cabin steward can organise this or call through to room service.

  • What is the currency on board?

    For Australian Cruises currency on board is in AUD however outside of this it is USD.

  • What type of power points are on board?

    For Australian ships (Spirit and Splendor) ships are fitted with standard Australian sockets however internationally they will be equipped with a 3-prong 110 volt (North America Grounded) and a 220 volt (Europe German-Style)
