    Dine in the two principal dining rooms – the Atlantic and the Pacific – with a choice of fixed-time dining at two seating times, or flexible “Your Time Dining”. Dining assignments can be booked before the cruise. Menus change daily and service is excellent. There’s at least one formal dinner, so come prepared to dress up. Breakfast and lunch are open seating. The casual Lido Restaurant buffet is the expansive two-level poolside eatery, offering casual alternatives for breakfast and lunch.

    Children have their own menu, plus pizzas and ice cream all day. Carnival Radiance offers several cover charge dining options: Green Eggs and Ham for breakfast, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Guy’s Pig & Anchor BBQ Smokehouse, Bonsai Sushi,( for lunch and dinner) and Cucino del Capitano (for dinner). Also, there’s the rather special Chef’s Table for 12 that includes a galley tour. Of course there’s plenty of fast food – hot dogs, burgers and such, as well as the first ever Big Chicken Restaurant. The ship offers 24-hour room service (for a small fee), ranging from basic continental-style breakfast fare to a variety of sandwiches and desserts.

    There is something for everyone. The Caribbean Main Show Lounge spanning three decks presents large production shows and cabaret acts backed by a live show band. It has a revolving stage, hydraulic orchestra pit, and excellent sound. Seaside Theatre’s giant screen over the main pool shows sports events, music videos and films.

    Kids aged 2-5 can join the Penguin Colony where they can engage in musical icebergs and ocean bingo. The sharks offer kids aged 9-11 a chance to play Marine Life Trivia, create a giant ocean mural and get the heart pumping with volleyball and soccer.   • Once the sun’s up hit the upper decks and you’re sure to find sunlight splashed across the competitive/fun SportSquare area… and water across the very-splashy Carnival WaterWorks, of course.

  • The dining is going to be delicious. You’ll find a Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse (as in: Guy Fieri) and a Big Chicken (as in: fried-chicken fan Shaq, Carnival’s Chief Fun Officer) right on board.

Cabins

The 36 cabin categories include interior staterooms, ocean-view rooms, balcony rooms, and suites. Over half of all cabins have outside views and all are larger than the industry standard. Each cabin has a gift amenity basket in its bathroom, filled with disposable razors, deodorant, breath mints, toothpaste and soap. Most rooms have twin beds that can be converted to a king bed upon request. All staterooms include flat-screen television, safe, hair dryer, bathrobes in the higher category cabins, and Carnival Comfort Bed with plush mattresses, good quality duvets, linens and pillows.

Television channels include CN, Fox News, a music video station, a Carnival station, and port excursion overviews. There is a wide range of balcony staterooms, with aft and wrap-around views. Suites are larger in size, with walk-in closet, a good-sized bathroom and lounge area, and whirlpool tub. Choose from Junior Suite, Grand Suite, and Ocean Suite. Suites come with priority check-in. Many cabins have upper and lower bunk beds. There are no single cabins, and 25 wheelchair-accessible cabins.
