Originally a Costa Concordia class ship, now in a class of her own - The Splendor Class. Refurbished in Singapore in 2019, and including Fun-Ship 2.0 upgrades including the Green Thunder Waterslide & Waterpark, Guy’s Burger Joint and the Blue Iguana Tequila Bar. From the moment you board Splendor, you will realise you’ve stepped on the “fun ship”, with iconic Pink Zebra wallpaper, to bright colorful tiles in the dining areas, quirky artwork all over the ship, the giant green and yellow waterslides jutting high in the sky - it will put you in the right mood from the word go.Beyond the thrills of the waterslides and parks and the vibrant shared spaces, you can let Carnival entertain you with their energetic stage shows, hilarious comedy acts and fine dining. Movies shown on Carnival Splendor are literally surrounded by splishes and splashes. Swim up to the theater on the ship. Floating alongside Hollywood’s A-listers? Can anything be more splendid?
The splendor will continue at Carnival Splendor’s Cloud 9 Spa. Immerse yourself in a massage. Pamper yourself with a facial. Experience what a little luxury can do in Thermal Suites. You will agree that it is splendid indeed.
No port visits on a particular day? Perfect! A day at sea gives you the opportunity to sleep a little and Carnival Splendor’s brunch is definitely the most delicious reason to finally get out of bed.

Cabins

The cabin categories include interior staterooms, ocean view (portholes, picture window, and forward-looking floor-to-ceiling window), balcony (four grades, up to an aft wrap-around balcony), and suites (three grades). Inside, Balcony and Suite categories has a “Cloud 9 Spa” variation, with complimentary spa access. Eighty percent of the cabins are outside; 80 percent of those staterooms have private balconies. Each cabin has a gift amenity basket in its bathroom.

All staterooms include flat-screen television, safe, mini-bar, beach towels, hair dryer, bathrobes to wear during your cruise, and Carnival Comfort Bed with plush mattresses, good quality duvets, linens and pillows. Standard cabins are a good size. Most with twin beds can be converted to king-size bed. Good design and soft lighting add to a feeling of spaciousness in interior staterooms. The Junior, Grand, and Ocean Suites have a large lounge and sleeping area, large bathroom with twin wash basins, and whirlpool bathtub. The best suites and cabins are those on the aft-facing decks. Suites qualify for priority check-in at port. Some cabins can accommodate a third and fourth person, and most cabin categories are fitted with inter-connecting doors to suit families. There are no single cabins, and 25 wheelchair-accessible cabins. A room service menu is available 24-hours, for a small charge.)

HOW DO YOU MAKE RESERVATIONS BEFORE BOARDING THE CARNIVAL SPLENDOR?

Once you have paid for your cruise in full, and downloaded the Carnival Hub App on either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, you can reserve your preferred dining options, and purchase wifi plans and activities. Once onboard, you can make reservations by visiting guest services on Deck 3.
IS THE CARNIVAL SPLENDOR GOOD FOR KIDS AND FAMILIES?

Yes, the main attractions for children on the Carnival Splendour are the Carnival Waterworks, the warehouse arcade and kid-focused clubs. Certified personnel supervise many entertainment options, including karaoke, movies, games, trivia, and activities centred on the ocean.

- You must attend the safety drill.
- No smoking indoors or on cabin balconies.
- No underage drinking.

WHAT SIZE RESTRICTIONS DOES THE CARNIVAL SPLENDOR CRUISE SHIP HAVE FOR MOBILITY SCOOTERS OR WHEELCHAIRS?

Carnival Splendor has 25 wheelchair-accessible staterooms with a doorway width of (32", 81.3 cm), however, if the mobility equipment fits through the 22" (55.9 cm) standard stateroom entry doorway, folds and collapses when stored, then a wheelchair-accessible stateroom is not needed. If you require an accessible stateroom, please speak with your Clean Cruising consultant.
