Azamara’s (“Blue Seas”) 700 or so guests are well-travelled, mainly English-speaking, older but active. Their three R-class ships are beautifully presented and very popular. Cuisine and dining matches the best restaurants. For specialty dining maybe dress formally for the ambience; otherwise smart casual for meals all day at Discoveries Restaurant or the Pool Grill. Snacks and drinks are available all day. Suite guests have private butler services and many other niceties. Internet is available in staterooms and public areas. Azamara features onboard health programs, and thoughtful on-shore programs with late departures or overnight stays, and also arrange extended pre/post-cruise land tours. Those with special needs receive excellent care. Awards include: 2017 Cruise Critic Editors’ Picks Awards Luxury Category for ‘Best Shore Excursions’ and ‘Best Itineraries’; 2018 Cruise Critic Australia Editors’ Picks for ‘Best Service’ and ‘Best Shore Excursions’.
