Lido Marketplace is the expansive two-level poolside eatery, offering casual alternatives for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also on the pool deck are snacks all day, including a pizza station, deli, and fast food. Come evening, there are five dining options (some pay extra). There are two alternative restaurants (by reservation, with cover charge): Nouveau Restaurant for dinner, and Bonsai Sushi for lunch and dinner. Both offer superb fine-dining experiences not to be missed. The Chef’s Table, reserved for 12, is a special dining experience that includes a galley tour. The ship offers 24-hour room service, ranging from basic continental-style breakfast fare to a variety of sandwiches and desserts.

Highlights

  • Carnival Dream can provide you with a mini vacation within your vacation. You can escape to the Adult-Only Retreat. Just enjoy the sun or immerse yourself in a book. Dream while you are sailing on a dream called Carnival Dream. Is it a coincidence? No.

  • Carnival Dream has added few more dreams to the list. This include BlueIguana Cantina, Pizzeria del Capitano, Guy’s Burger Joint, Alchemy Bar, Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse and Bonsai Sushi. You can see all these dreams, but this will make you more hungry.

  • One side-effect you will encounter while onboard, Carnival Dream, is jubilation. This feeling you will get while enjoying the WaterWorks rides. You will realize that the best way to go from Point A(top of Waterworks) to Point B(splash down area) is via a series of twisting and turning tubes.

  • Welcome to Carnival Dream. Playing mini golf in the middle of the ocean may sound like a dream. But, that is what Carnival Dream is. It will surprise you with dream like amenities. It will be a perfect cruise for you and your companions.

Cabins

Cabin categories include interior staterooms (10 grades), ocean view (7 grades), balcony (13 grades), and suites (four grades). Each of these categories has a “Cloud 9 Spa” variation, with complimentary spa access. Eighty percent of the cabins are outside; 80 percent of those staterooms have private balconies. Each cabin has a gift amenity basket in its bathroom. All staterooms include flat-screen TVs, safe, mini-bar, beach towels, hair dryer, bathrobes to wear during your cruise, and Carnival Comfort Bed with plush mattresses, good quality duvets, linens and pillows.

Standard cabins are a good size. Most with twin beds can be converted to a king-size bed. Good design and soft lighting add to a feeling of spaciousness in interior staterooms. The Junior, Grand, and Ocean Suites have a large lounge and sleeping area, large bathroom with twin wash basins, and whirlpool bathtub. The best suites and cabins are those on the aft-facing decks. Suites qualify for priority check-in at port. Cove Balconies are a new category of stateroom, located on the lower Main Deck, which are close to the waterline and offer smaller terraces with excellent ocean views as an alternative to larger balcony staterooms. Some cabins can accommodate a third and fourth person, and most cabin categories are fitted with inter-connecting doors to suit families. There are no single cabins, and 35 wheelchair-accessible cabins. A room service menu is available 24-hours, for a small charge.)
