Carnival Tropicale Cruises
Carnival Tropicale - Big splashes. Bigger smiles
Scheduled to debut in April 2028, Carnival Tropicale will join Carnival Cruise Line as its fifth Excel-class ship, sailing from Galveston, Texas. With capacity for more than 6,000 guests, she will pair Caribbean, Bahamas and Mexico itineraries with a generous helping of onboard fun. Her name honours the original Tropicale, the ship that introduced Carnival’s winged funnel. Family raft rides, adventurous dining and lively entertainment will give the name a fresh personality. For Australian travellers, she’ll make an inviting addition to a United States holiday, with plenty to enjoy between beach days.
Sunsation Point will turn Carnival Tropicale’s upper decks into a playground for different ages, with waterslides, an adventure trail and places to pause between rounds of family competition. Down in Grand Central, floor-to-ceiling windows and colour-changing lights will set the scene for live performances. Summer Landing will offer a slower pace, with a pool, whirlpool and barbecue aromas drifting from Guy’s Pig & Anchor.
