Oceania Cruises, based in Florida, operates six luxury cruise ships on world-wide itineraries, up to 200 nights around the world (Insignia, annually). Four ships are the very popular 30,277 GT R-Class vessels – with that smaller ship ambiance couched in luxury – and two larger 66,084 GT new vessels. It is currently the world’s largest upscale cruise line, offering a destination-oriented, floating-hotel experience, with cuisine “finest at sea” and superior service at a mid-market price. Oceania is popularly known as “the foodie cruise line.” Oceania Cruises earned five first-place awards in the 2016 Cruise Critic Cruisers' Choice Award, including its fifth consecutive win for offering the finest cuisine at sea. Many new ports are added annually to its present 450 ports of call, and include the South Pacific, Caribbean, South America, the Middle East and Asia. Many overnight port stays allow passengers to immerse themselves in the history, culture and local flavour of the regions.

It is renovating each of its four smaller R-class ships as a part of the $100 million "OceaniaNEXT" program, to be completed in June 2020. Oceania ships offer theme cruises – Signature Sailings – exploring culinary, wine, music and health themes. Her vessels have a high ratio of standard balcony staterooms. Dress code is country-club casual, and your fellow-guests are likely middle-aged and older couples seeking relaxation. Dining is free-style in the main dining rooms and all specialty restaurants. The spas offer premium services at reasonable prices. The company offers one of the industry's best value-for-money options in cruising, offering luxury-level food and service with fewer inclusions (such as liquor, shore tours and pre-cruise hotel stays) in its base fares.
