Island Princess Cruises
Being a large resort ship, built in 2003 and refurbished in 2017, on-board entertainment and facilities are state-of-the-art for cruise ships. The ship itself is a cruise destination. She has two decks of public spaces and plenty of lifts and staircases that make for ease of movement. There is an ‘adults only’ two-deck Sanctuary area with padded sunloungers and pool for your solitude. Newly fitted is a large ‘Movies Under the Stars’ screen. This is one of the few large ships with a walk around promenade deck. Passengers enjoy mingling in a sophisticated setting, with good food and entertainment in an affordable package. Island Princess offers traditional and flexible dining in the main dining rooms. This ship caters well for families, though a majority are seniors. Boarding logistics are very smooth. Tips and gratuities are additional.
