Seabourn Encore sails out of Sydney and Auckland until March 2020. Her three month season Down Under includes the southern capitals and New Zealand. There are some classic 16-night cruises to New Zealand and the southern Australian capitals. Consider the 14-night cruise from Sydney that spends a night in Hobart and calls at five smaller ports around the three southern States. Seabourn Encore returns to Australia in late 2020 through March 2021. All itineraries depart Sydney and Auckland to include New Zealand. Around April and October each year Seabourn Encore transitions between Australia and the Mediterranean via the Indian subcontinent, the Middle East, and Suez Canal. Seabourn Encore sails out of major Mediterranean ports, ranging from 7 to 19 nights. Accommodation
All staterooms are suites, very spacious, with queen bed (or twins), walk-in wardrobe, daily stocked mini-bar (complimentary), living area with dining table, and interactive flat-screen TV. The best of electronic entertainment is available, and your direct-dial telephone to the outside world. All the appointments are luxurious and hardly need listing. This accommodation is a haven to refresh oneself for the next day’s onshore activities. Personal attention extends from supplying fresh fruit and flowers daily, to canapés and newly-baked pastries on returning from a day ashore.

The five Owner’s Suites have dining for four, pantry, whirlpool bath, and guest bathroom. The two Signature Suites in addition have dining for six and complimentary Internet access. The two Grand Wintergarden Suites (144 sq.m.) have two bedrooms, solarium,, plus everything you can imagine. The five Penthouse Spa Suites are on the top deck facing aft. For these suites space is not an issue. Everything matches top hotels. There are eight wheelchair-accessible suites across all categories, 32 pairs of cabins are inter-connecting, and 27 suites take a third guest. Each suite has its own balcony, and full room service.

Food and Dining
Dining is in four five-star dining venues. Open seated dining in The 380-seat Restaurant is a memorable experience, overseen by celebrity chefs: award-winning cuisine, regional dishes, many items cooked to order, exotic foods and cheeses, accompanied at your table by ship’s officers. Breakfast and lunch menus here are expansive. The indoor/outdoor specialty dining venue is yet to be described. There’s a sushi restaurant, new pastry oven, and fresh roasted coffee beans. Seabourn has an all-inclusive complimentary beverage and no-gratuities policy.

The Colonnade, located aft, is the indoor/outdoor restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy sumptuous buffets and daily specials for breakfast and lunch. The Colonnade serves regionally-themed, bistro-style dinners with table service nightly. Service, as with all dining venues, is excellent, to tables set with white linen indoors and out. Poolside dining is at the Patio Grill. In Seabourn Square enjoy traditional Italian espressos and lattes. An in-suite menu service is available around the clock, with dinner served course by course.

Entertainment
Spend two hours dining and chatting with newly-met friends, and you make your own entertainment. The Grand Salon is the venue for small shows, cabaret acts, lectures, cooking demonstrations, movies and some social functions. The stunning Observation Bar is the place for early morning coffee or tea, and evening drinks with piano music in the background. Guests enjoy wine, champagne and spirits in any of the many bars and lounges.

During sea days passengers make their own fun, though one can join tour talks, cooking demos, bridge, a matinee movie, galley tour, and ACBL-sanctioned bridge competitions. The Spa offers massages from exotic cultures, private treatment rooms, personally tailored fitness programs, and a full-service beauty salon. Fitness amenities include sauna and steam rooms, gymnasium, Kinesis Wall, two outdoor pools and six whirlpools. A built-in marina facility will provide for swimming, snorkelling, windsurfing, kayaking and water-skiing at selected ports of call.
