Okinawa Island is the largest of a group of one hundred and fifty islands, the Ryukyu islands, scattered over a wide area in the southernmost prefecture of Japan. The city of Okinawa is second to the capital Naha, 22km to the SW. Kota Kinabalu, or KK for short, is the capital of Sabah State in East Malaysia and is located on the northern coast of Borneo.
