Cruises from Lae

Lae, the capital of Morobe Province, is the second-largest city in Papua New Guinea, as well as the largest cargo port in the country. It is situated just east of the Markham River delta, that flows into the Huon Gulf and then the Solomon Sea. Lae is known as the Garden City due to its picturesque seaside setting against the tough and rugged terrain that hugs the coast. It is home to the PNG University of Technology. Lae is located on the Pacific Ring of Fire and earthquakes are a hazard.
