Our cruise experience was made all the better because of Carli Fergusson, she was extremely friendly and knowledgable, she looked after everything and it all went off perfectly. Carlis' advice on where to stay prior to our cruise was excellent and she took care of all the arrangements including our flights and accomodation which made our holiday all the more enjoyable."

Cruises visiting Key West & all Key West cruises for  2019

Key West is a city on an island of the same name that lies off the coast of Florida USA. One of the biggest attractions on the island is a concrete replica of a buoy at the corner of South and Whitehead Streets, which claims to be the southernmost point in the continental 48 states. Although Key West today has been revitalised for the tourists, the town has retained some of its sense of individualism and isolation, especially away from the main streets. Walking tours are the best way to see the island's intriguing architecture, courtyards and gardens.

Start in the centre of town at the Key West City Cemetery, which offers a glimpse of Key West's past, and its offbeat sense of humor, as exhibited by gravestones that read ‘I told you I was sick,’ and ‘At least I know where he's sleeping tonight’. Take the time to amble along the delightful streets with their lush plants, absorb the atmosphere, and enjoy local meals and refreshment in the numerous bars, such as the popular Captain Tony’s Saloon. The Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square with its fascinating street performances is a daily spectacle for visitors and residents.

There are also some wonderful attractions to visit, such as the Dry Tortugas National Park that is home to the historic Fort Jefferson, and the home and gardens of the late Nobel Prize Winner Ernest Hemingway. Many visitors rent a bicycle and explore the history and architecture of Old Town Key West, while anyone who enjoys tales about pirates and their treasures will greatly appreciate the Mel Fisher Maritime Heritage Museum. Many visitors enjoy the Wild Dolphin Adventures, while others join in the many water-sports on offer, such as parasailing, jet skiing, banana boating, and snorkeling.
