Cruises from Little Diomede Island
Little Diomede Island is an island of Alaska, lying in the 82km-wide Bering Strait, midway between Russia and the USA. Its larger twin, Big Diomede (3.8 km away), is Russian and lies on the other side of the International Date Line. Little Diomede would fit into a square of side 3.5km and highest point 494m. Its population of about 135 is almost all Inglikmiut Eskimo, and all live in the hillside village of Diomede on the west coast.
