All CC staff have been wonderful in all aspects of the booking experience. My son and his wife are now CC clients after our family Christmas Cruise in 2015. Are now getting ready to book another cruise in the not too distant future. Hope all at CC have a wonderful 2017"

Nelson city of 50,000 is situated on the eastern shores of Tasman Bay, at the very north of New Zealand’s South Island. It lies at the Geographical Centre of New Zealand (and there’s a monument to this overlooking the city). Nelson Harbour is protected by a natural 15 km long Boulder Bank, with a central cut to make the harbour entrance. Boulder Bank Lighthouse stands prominently on the Bank. The city is surrounded by mountains and national parks. Nelson has the nicknames of "Sunny Nelson" due to its high sunshine hours per year, and the "Top of the South" because of its geographic location.

Settled 700 years ago by Maori, British settlers arrived in 1841. Today the main local industries relate to timber, apples, tourism, and processed fish – Nelson is the biggest fishing port in Australasia. Nelson has retained many Victorian buildings in its historic centre. Nelson is well known for its thriving local arts and crafts scene, The World of Wearable Art and Classic Cars Museum is an iconic Nelson visitor attraction that celebrates two distinctly different passions. Amazing works of art that are wearable are displayed alongside a world class collection of rare and classic cars. The Museum also includes a Café, Museum Shop, and the Reflections Art Gallery.

Not far out of town discover stunning landscape at the top NW corner of the South Island. Home to three of New Zealand's most spectacular national parks, and the magnificent Mt Richmond Forest Park, the region's most popular tourism activities are based around the outdoor playgrounds of the parks. These include: mountain biking and cycling, world-class fly fishing, and diving. Visitors can explore the hills by quad-bike, horse, and even skywire. Wine and beer enthusiasts will find the cellar doors of passionate winemakers and brewers open, and all will enjoy the delectable delight they'll discover with the local produce and seafood.
