Cruises from Enkhuizen
Enkhuizen, formerly the Herring City, is a port located on IJsselmeer lake (formerly Zuiderzee), in the province of North Holland in the Netherlands. It was a key harbour-town for the Dutch East Indies Company around the 1650s, but as the harbour silted up its trade went to Amsterdam 50km to the south. The town of 18,000 is easily explored by foot or rental bicycle. With one of the largest marinas in the Netherlands.
