Cruises from Kokas
Kokas (aka Kojas) is a prosperous fishing town with a population of about 4,000 residents located in the McClure Gulf, West Papua province, Indonesia. It is also home to approximately 500 Muslim West Papuans. Evidence of Japanese occupation during WWII, such as the remains of wartime bunkers, is found on the beaches of Kokas. In contrast, visitors are welcomed with a variety of cultural performances.
