Cruises from Bonaventure Island

Bonaventure Island lies in the Gulf of St Lawrence located 3.5 km off the southern coast of Quebec’s Gaspe Peninsula. For years it was an important source of inspiration to famous artists and poets, but in the seventies artists and landowners were evicted. The island is best known for the 293 varieties of birds that live, visit or migrate to this small island that has an area of just over four square kilometres.
