Cozumel is a Caribbean island just off the Yucatan Peninsula in SE Mexico. It has grown steadily over the years since Jacques Cousteau first put the island on the map as a sea turtle sanctuary. Bimini is the westernmost part of the Bahamas, two islands and many cays (population 2000). North Bimini is about 11km long and 200m wide, with settlements Alice Town and Bailey Town, and shops, restaurants and bars.
