Mojiko (Moji Port) lies at the western end of the Seto Inland Sea of Japan, between the islands of Honshu and Kyushu where they are separated by the Kanmon Straits. Mojiko is a ward of the city of Kitakyushu, and a major trading port for the region at the end of the 19th century.
