Izmir is located along the outlying waters of the Gulf of Izmir, by the eastern side of the Aegean Sea, part of Turkey's magnificent coastline that abounds in vast pristine beaches surrounded by olive groves, rocky crags and pine woods. Antalya is the 'capital' of the Turkish Mediterranean Coast. Taormina is a small town on the island of Sicily in Italy, in the Province of Messina.
