Canakkale is a pleasant Turkish town settled on both sides of a bridge of the same name, which connects the Biga Peninsula in Asia. Travelling across town is easiest by the use of regular ferries. Kusadasi is a resort town on Turkey's Aegean coast and the centre of the seaside district of the same name. Marmaris, located on the Mediterranean coast in south-west Turkey, is probably the most popular sailing and holiday resort of the country.
