Coron Island is one of the Calamian Group of Islands in northern Palawan, the Philippines. It lies 300 km SSW of the capital Manilla. Okinawa Island is the largest of a group of one hundred and fifty islands, the Ryukyu islands, scattered over a wide area in the southernmost prefecture of Japan. The city of Okinawa is second to the capital Naha, 22km to the SW.
