Portland Harbour, dating back for thousands of years, is located beside the Isle of Portland off Dorset on the south coast of England. It is home to one of the largest man-made harbours in the world. Invergordon is a deepwater port near the entrance of Cromarty Firth, "the seaway to the Scottish Highlands."
