Rotterdam - located at the Rhine-Meuse-Scheldt delta on the North Sea - is the largest port in Europe, and a perfect starting point for excursions to the cities of Holland. Few cities rebounded as quickly as Rotterdam following the Nazi invasion, which levelled the medieval heart of town, burning most of it to the ground. Today some of Europe's most bold contemporary architecture, such as the unique Cube Houses, can be found amid classic 18th and 19th C buildings in this, the greatest comeback city in the world. Queen Victoria Overview

    Queen Victoria

    4.3
    (from 69 verified customers)

Queen Victoria ship is one of the four Queens making up the Cunard fleet and carries 2061 passengers. Aboard the smallest of the Cunard ships you will rarely find yourself in a crowd, except perhaps at dinner time or at a popular theatre show. She is a classic ship honouring the British tradition of afternoon tea, which includes white-gloved waiters who serve finger sandwiches, scones with cream in the Queens Rooms. She is elegant and a true icon to sail on. Queen Victoria is one of the few ships that has a class system, linking staterooms with dining venues. Art work specially commissioned is visible in public rooms, corridors, staterooms and lobbies. Most of the major public rooms are on the lowest decks: the Illuminations cinema, Royal Court Theatre, Grand Lobby, restaurants, shopping arcade, bars and clubs are on decks 2 and 3. On Deck 11 are the Queen's Grill and Princess Grill restaurants for higher-fare passengers. Amenities include the largest ballroom at sea and 5-star entertainment nightly in the Royal Court Theatre.
