Cartagena is a Mediterranean city and naval station located in the Region of Murcia, SE Spain. Castellon de la Plana on the Canary Islands of Spain was originally an inland town, but was moved closer to the coast in the 13th century. It has an interesting old town area that is well worth a visit. Fans of archaeology will be particularly interested in the Torres dels Alcaments Museum located at Plaza de las Aguilas, as its structure is made of the fourteenth century walls of the original fortified city.
