The three main dining rooms cater for half of the guests on board. There’s waterfront dining in the two-storey main restaurant, with its large dance floor. Each restaurant has its own menu. The first Supper Club at sea provides a combined dinner and show cabaret evening. Dining is freestyle, with tables for up to six guests. The 17 dining areas, some of them open 24/7, should spread and lessen crowding at meal times.

A new concept for Escape is The Food Republic, for guests to “experience a culinary journey” via a series of taster plates using worldwide flavours. There’s a buffet top-ship with fast food all day. There are many new specialty restaurants positioned on the ship’s dining and entertainment strip, known as The Waterfront. Specialty dining venues cater to Spanish, Italian, French Bistro, Japanese (Teppanyaki and Sushi), Steakhouse (regular and Brazilian), and a Cuban Seafood location. Choose to dine al fresco overlooking the atrium social centre, or casually on the sports deck.

Pre-dinner drinks are available at a range of bars throughout the ship. Norwegian has also signed with Miami’s Wynwood Brewing Company to see the District Brew House beer hall concept debut, offering a keg room onboard. Escape Theater offers a series of top productions Broadway shows.
Activities
Daytime entertainment will mostly centre around the top decks, particularly the 3-deck sports complex with its ropes course, and the large aqua park with its five giant waterslides. Also you’ll find a climbing wall, sports courts, Sky Rails, zip lines, climbing wall, and all court ball games. Walk the Plank, extending over the ship’s side 50 m above the sea, for a special thrill.
Health & Fitness
The Mandara Spa spans two decks. It offers the largest thermal suite on the seas. Warm up on one of 17 heated lounges, the steam room or dry sauna, and then enter the snow room, kept between -6 degrees. and 0 degrees. A white powder drizzling down through the day, is aimed at stimulating blood circulation to build up the immune system. More than 50 signature spa treatment services will be on offer for both men and women.

Kid’s facilities are greatly expanded. Splash Academy water park caters for four age groups. Teens have their dedicated space with a variety of gaming stations, electronic gadgetry, and late night dance parties. Cabins

The 2174 cabins include Inside, Oceanview, Balcony, Suites, and Studios which are priced for single travellers. There are over two dozen options for families, multi-generational groups, and spa enthusiasts. Many cabins have interconnecting rooms, and additional beds that cater for 3, 4, 5 and 6 persons. Staterooms have a queen-size bed, separate bathroom with shower, some with bathtubs, a small make-up/writing desk and stool, and wardrobe hanging space. Depending on the category cabins have a sofa. Oceanview cabins come with a large rectangular picture window for sea views.

Balconies are set up with a small table and two chairs. The 82 studio cabins require no singles supplement. Spa Mini-Suites afford easy access to the fitness centre and complimentary access to the Thermal Spa Suites. Guests of the five classes of The Haven suites and villas – a ship-within-a-ship – have access to their own private courtyard atop the ship, dining venue, butler and concierge services. Families of up to eight can be accommodated. The Haven suites are significantly more spacious in all respects, and include a luxurious spa with glass walls and full ocean views. The largest De Luxe Owner’s Suite (95 sq.m. sleeping up to four) has a wrap-around balcony, wet bar, and one and a half bathrooms. Eighty-two studio cabins for singles (with no single supplement) include a full size bed, bathroom, sink and shower, and access to a common Studio Lounge.
