Cruises from Uligamu
Uligamu (Uligan) is one of the inhabited islands (500 persons) of the Haa Alif Atoll in the Maldives, an island chain lying off the SW coast of southern India, in the Indian Ocean. Uligami lies at the furthermost north of the archipelago. It is sought out for its stunning beaches, coral reefs and tropical fish. It is also a way point for yachts from the east heading for the Red Sea or Persian Gulf.
And those visiting must respect local muslim customs. Rainwater is collected as there are no fresh water supplies on the islands. The islands also have a fine name for honestly, friendliness, and no corruption.
