Cruises from Trondheim
Trondheim, Norway, lies on the south shore of the Trondheimsfjord at the mouth of the river Nidelva. Norway's capital of technology is a lively and historical university town. It is home to the famous Nidaros Cathedral built from 1070 onwards that became a most important pilgrimage site during the Middle Ages. Today, it is the northernmost medieval cathedral in the world, the second largest in Scandinavia, and the most important of the many historical attractions in the city.
Also of interest is the Gaulosen, a wetland habitat where there is an observation tower as well as information on the birdlife.
