Cruises from Tortel
Caleta Tortel is a coastal village in Chile. It is the administrative centre of the commune of Tortel and is located between the mouth of the Baker River - the largest river in Chile - and a small bay in the Baker Channel. The surrounding geography is rugged, formed by a number of islands, fjords, channels and estuaries. The amazing Glacier Jorge Montt is located nearby, in the Bernardo O'Higgins National Park.
The entire boat trip to the glacier Montt is a lovely experience, as one cruises on the fjords in this remote and isolated part of the world, undisturbed by humans.
