Cruises from Qingdao
Qingdao is a sub-provincial city in eastern Shandong province of the People's Republic of China. Lying across the southern tip of the Shandong Peninsula, located in Jiao Zhou Bay, facing the Yellow Sea, Qingdao today is a major seaport, naval base, and industrial centre. It boasts a vibrant expatriate community – mostly Koreans – and is also the site of the Tsingtao Brewery, which German settlers founded in 1903. Attracting many tourists due to its seaside setting and temperate weather, it is of interest to note the unique German and modern architecture that lines the shore.
