Cruises from Nafpaktos
Nafpaktos is a Medieval-style town (pop. 20,000) on the north side of the Gulf of Corinth, 3 km west of the mouth of the river Mornos. The Gulf is a deep inlet of the Ionian Sea (between Italy and Greece) that separates mainland Greece from the Peloponnese peninsula to the south. The opening to the Gulf nearby to Nafpaktos in just 2 km wide. The town wraps around a curved bay, at the centre of which is a protected marina housing about 50 small pleasure boats.
