Cruises from Motu Ceran
Motu Ceran (aka Motu Mahaea) is a small sand island about 180 m across – and hard to find on a map – situated inside the reef on the eastern side of Taha’a, in French Polynesia. It lies 220 km WNW of Papeete in the Society Islands. There is a channel through the fringing reef of Taha’a, with Motu Ceran on the north side and the larger Motu Toahotu (Atger) on the south side. This ‘desert island’ provides an anchorage and an ideal picnic spot for lunch surrounded by coconut palms and mangroves.
