Cruises from Lan Ha Bay
Lan Ha Bay is on the far north coast of Vietnam, just 110km from the border of the Republic of China. It opens to the Gulf of Tonkin, a northern arm of the South China Sea. (It was an incident here in 1964 that led to the Vietnam war.) The bay encompasses 300 weathered limestone islands jutting vertically out of the water, and lined with numerous white sand beaches.
