Cruises from Kimmirut
Kimmirut (Lake Harbour) is a hamlet of fewer than 400 persons on the shores of Hudson Strait, between southern Baffin Island and Canada’s mainland province of Quebec. The Inuit hamlet overlooks the waters of Glasgow Inlet. Situated about 15 km inland from Hudson Strait, the name means “heel”, taken from the appearance of a low and smooth rocky prominence just across the water from the settlement.
