Cruises from Big Sister Island
Big Sister Island (Grande Soeur) is a privately owned island at the NE of the Seychelles archipelago, in the western Indian Ocean. It is one of 42 granitic islands on the shallow waters (c. 50 m depth) of the Seychelles Bank. The island is less than two kilometres long, with a narrow waist of 200 m, where the beaches are. The rest of the perimeter is rocky, and the island is covered with tropical forest and exposed rocks rising to 113 m.
