Cruises from Astove
Astove atoll is a raised coral island enclosing a shallow lagoon. It is part of the Aldabra Group lying on the Outer Islands of Seychelles, 40 km SW of the capital Victoria, on Mahé Island. Madagascar lies 260 km to the south and mainland Africa 780 km to the west. The exposed eastern side of the island is dominated by low scrub and mangroves on the lagoon side, while the western side is quite highly vegetated. Entrance to the lagoon is from the south.
