Cruises from Red Bluff Bay, Alaska
Scenic Red Bluff Bay is situated on the Inside Passage side of Baranof Island, protecting the fjord-lined coast of Alaska. Cruise ships plying between Ketchikan and Juneau on their regular cruises would have to venture 70 kilometres west to visit this picturesque bay. The bay itself is a 6 km long fjord, protected by islands allowing narrow entrances. On each side the smooth water is overshadowed by pine forests and 1000m snow-capped peaks, with melt-water cascading down ribbon waterfalls.

The only signs of human life ashore are an abandoned herring cannery; and some chromite deposits nearby aren’t commercial.
