Cruises from Tarutao Island (Ko Tarutao)
Ko Tarutao (“Oldest Island” – from Malay) lies 20 km west of Southern Thailand, halfway down the west side of the Malay Peninsula, in the Andaman Sea. Ko Tarutao island is the largest (at 26 km by 10 km) of 51 islands in Tarutao National Marine Park, and is mostly covered by old-growth rain forest. Its mangrove swamps, limestone cliffs and caves are very impressive. It is one of the most unspoiled islands in Andaman Sea and in all of Thailand.
