Cruises from Savoogna

Savoogna is a small settlement (population 670) on St Lawrence Island in the Bering Sea, in the state of Alaska. It lies 120km from Russia to the NW, and 260km from Nome on the Alaskan mainland to the NE. St Lawrence Island is roughly 140km by 36km, and thought to be one of the last exposed portions of the land bridge that once joined Asia with North America. The other village on the island is Gambell. The US-Russian boundary is to the west of St Lawrence Island.
