We really appreciated the attentiveness of our cruise consultants to our needs. They even reminded us of what we needed to do that we had overlooked. Building good relationships with our cruise consultants has encouraged us to definitely utilise their services again. They displayed professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail. Fantastic! Thanks so much for all your support."

Mano Bay is located on the SW of Sado Island, Niigata Prefecture, off the coast of Honshu, the main island of Japan. Sado Island is roughly central to Japan, and on the west side of Honshu in the Sea of Japan. Mano Bay is situated between two mountain ridges, at one end of a 13km central plain separating them. The Bay’s width is about 13 km, a concave curve of beach overlooking still water. Rivers from the mountains converge into the bay, and its low-lying interior consists mainly of rice farms.

The island historically has been a place of exile, leaving a heritage of mixed cultures and their performing arts. It is a breeding ground for birds, and rivers from the mountains supported rice fields. Near Mano Bay is Myosenji Temple, with a five-story pagoda of 25 m. that was completed after 30 years in 1825. Several temples, historical ruins and accompanying beautiful gardens can be visited. The Art and Natural History Museum of Sado is on the west coast between Sawata and Mano, and a traditional wooden Noh Theatre from the 19th century can be visited near Daizen Shrine to the east of Mano.
