Cruises from Menyawakan Island

Menyawakan Island is situated in the Java Sea, 125 km due north of the major Central Java city of Semarang. It is one of the 27 islands that make up the Karimunjawa Islands. Menyawakan is a resort island that would fit into an area 700m by 500m, and with a surrounding reef twice those measures. At the southern edge of the reef there is a small boat entry and anchorage for half a dozen vessels. The resort buildings are at the SW and W of the island, and the remainder is covered with coconut palms.
