Cruises from Braubach
Braubach is situated on the right bank of the Rhine, about 10km SE of Koblenz. The city has assorted medieval architecture intact, including half-timbered buildings and castle Marksburg on the hill above. Also of great interest are the numerous reminders of the medieval city that are still evident, such as the historical church "Barbarakirche" from the 13th century, whose tower was a corner attachment of the city wall. Marksburg castle was never completely destroyed during the religious Thirty Years’ War (1618-1648) and is the best-preserved castle on the River. Read more
