Jiangyin is a city in China's Jiangsu Province on the southern bank of the Yangtze River. The city is comprised of 16 towns, one high-tech industrial park, and a new port region. The area is criss-crossed by several rivers and lakes and of interest is the Yangtze River Crossing, the pylons of which are taller than the Eiffel Tower.

For a smaller city, Jiangyin offers an abundance of restaurants including an increasing number of non-Chinese restaurants. Some interesting attractions include: Erbizui Park, Campaign Memorial Hall – a historical museum , the former residence of Xu Xiake, the historical Huaxi Village, considered the most attractive site for tourists, and Jiangyin Zhongshan Park.

The beautiful scenes and well-protested environment are attracting tourists from all around the world. The city has been listed in several critical national rankings, including the Best City for Science and Technology and the Best Hygienic City. In view of this it is not surprising that the residents of Jiangyin have become amongst the most wealthy in China.
