At Waves Grill, in a relaxed poolside setting, a seemingly simple dish emerged as a defining highlight: the Surf & Turf Wagyu Burger. Rich, perfectly balanced and undeniably indulgent, it was quite simply the best burger I have ever eaten. It captured the essence of what Oceania does so well, elevating the familiar into something truly extraordinary.

Then there was the coffee. For Australian travellers especially, this detail matters, and here it became something worth talking about. The barista-crafted coffee on board was exceptional, with each cup prepared with care and precision. It delivered the kind of café-quality consistency that makes every morning at sea feel that little bit better.

Arrive in Miami with enough time to explore before boarding. A Little Havana food tour is a wonderful way to ease into the journey and adds a rich cultural layer before the cruise begins.

Lunch was served in the simplest yet most perfect way, on a pristine stretch of sand at a relaxed beach shack bar. Fresh flavours, cold drinks and uninterrupted ocean views created a moment of pure escapism. It was barefoot luxury at its finest, unpretentious, unforgettable and deeply relaxing.

Short in distance yet rich in experience, the Bahamas completed the journey with effortless beauty and genuine charm.

What made this voyage truly compelling was how seamlessly it all came together. From the vibrant authenticity of Little Havana to the refined elegance of Oceania Allura, every element felt intentional. Each moment built upon the last, creating a travel experience that was cohesive, immersive and deeply satisfying.
