Los Angeles-based Uniworld Boutique River Cruises will have a 2020 fleet of 21 luxurious boutique, hotel-style ships in Europe, Russia, Egypt, India, China, Vietnam and Cambodia. It has over 500 ports of call in more than 20 countries. While Uniworld’s traditional customer base is in the USA, Australians are second and growing. Cruises are inclusive of on board and on shore gratuities, shore excursions with local guides and headset systems, all beverages, meals with complimentary drinks at lunch and dinner, airport transfers, experienced English-speaking staff, cuisine supervised by a Global Master Chef, onboard Signature Lectures, internet and Wi-Fi, and fine amenities. Uniworld provides an intimate, small-ship ambience (average 136 guests), luxurious accommodation, fine artworks, discrete yet attentive service by stewards, gourmet dining, and outstanding on-shore excursions. All vessels are either new or refitted since 2010. Solo travelers can cruise at no additional expense on selected departure dates and itineraries. Family cruises run in holiday times, and on selected itineraries family-oriented activities are arranged. While all its vessels have the lavish Uniworld presentation and services, note that Queen and Royale elevator does not extend to the lowest deck. All suites have full butler service (to Buckingham Palace standard). The Line’s by-word is “No request too large, no detail too small.”
