(from 117 verified customers)

Emerald Princess entered service in 2007 as a modern mega-ship offering a high standard of personal service. The Emerald Princess is 113,561 GT and with 3,080 passengers and 1,539 cabins on the ship. She is one of the seven Grand Class ships in the Princess fleet which all slightly vary, boasting an air of sophisticated elegance and luxurious spaces. Her sister ships include Sapphire Princess and Diamond Princess. Her recent dry dock saw her be equipped with the Princess MedallionClass, taking personalised service to the next level. This wearable device allows you to board faster, seamlessly unlock your cabin, contactless payments onboard and order drinks to wherever you are on the ship - putting you in control of your cruise experience. Emerald Princess offers an outstanding range of onboard shopping, dining, entertainment and activities. Revitalised and new dining options include Salty Dog Grill serving up handmade gourmet burgers or the incredible specialty restaurant SHARE by Curtis Stone, offering a six-course fine dining experience. From the moment you board the Emerald Princess, she brings a warm and inviting feeling with her neutral tones, natural light and wide-open spaces. She features a superior gallery-class artwork, a spacious relaxing spa and four pools. The evenings are filled with an abundance of night-time entertainment on offer including world-class stage productions, glitzy night clubs, luxury lounges, and a Vegas-style casino. A favourite among Princess guests is the live atmosphere of the central piazza, bringing passengers together with a variety of live entertainment in the open space, featuring musicians and several other performers. An exclusive feature on board is ‘The Voice of the Ocean,’ bringing the hit television show ‘The Voice’ to sea. This is a live singing competition throughout the cruise, incorporating the famous ‘I Want You’ swivel chairs.

The Emerald Princess, like all Princess ships, has a smart casual approach to the dress code on board. During the day can be resort wear and the evenings expected to be smart casual, most cruises have one or two (optional) formal nights. No swimwear, jeans, singlets or shorts are allowed in the restaurants at dinner time.

Cabins are roomy and nicely appointed, with satellite television access to major channels. Standard cabins are practical and attractive, many have additional upper berths for children, and some have inter-connecting doors. The larger the stateroom, the more additional facilities.

All guests receive turndown service, chocolates on pillow at night, bathrobes and amenity kits, and complimentary room service on most items 24 hours a day. There are no single cabins, 31 wheelchair-accessible cabins, and some cabins accommodate families of three and four. Five types of suites are available, including two interconnecting family suites, each of which can sleep four adults and two children on sofas. Suites have a bathtub and second television. The 28 suites and 178 mini-suites cover a large range of sizes and additional free-bees such as complimentary laundry and shoe shine, a selection of pillows, daily in-room canapés and high tea, free Internet access, and much more.
