Star Explorer brings Windstar’s relaxed yacht-style cruising into a new chapter, with her first sailing season beginning in December 2026. Purposefully small and all-suite, she is designed for travellers who prefer a more personal way to explore, where the ship feels easy to settle into and the destination always stays close. With just 112 suites, generous ocean-facing spaces and the calm atmosphere Windstar is known for Star Explorer offers a thoughtful alternative to larger resort-style ships.

On board, Star Explorer is shaped around the quiet pleasures of small-ship travel. Nearly all suites feature either a private veranda or a floor-to-ceiling infinity window, giving guests a constant connection to the sea, whether they are easing into the morning or returning from a day ashore. The ship also introduces upgraded amenities and Basil + Bamboo, a new specialty restaurant that adds fresh variety to Windstar’s dining experience.
