Le Ponant Cruises

Ponant is an archaic French naval term for "West", the opposite of Levant. Le Ponant is a three-masted motorised sailing vessel, refitted in 2011, carrying just 64 passengers – a boutique discovery yacht that will take you in luxury to beautiful ports not accessed by large cruise vessels.

Join the three-masted yacht Le Ponant to take in the breeze on an open deck, moved silently by the wind, sharing your experiences with the crew and your few fellow travellers. Personalised service and an informal dress code assures guests of a refreshing cruise break. Though mainly French, fellow passengers will come from many backgrounds, and be young-minded, well-travelled and refined – conducive to making friends as you share on-shore experiences. You’ll find all amenities are modern, ample space for sun-bathing or solitude, no high-end entertainment, but assured good service and dining.)
