Explora V Cruises

Explora V: Designed for unhurried days and wider horizons

Setting sail in December 2027, Explora V will be the fifth ship in the Explora Journeys fleet, bringing the brand’s spacious, residential approach to a new generation of ocean travel. The LNG-powered ship will feature 457 ocean-front suites, five heated pools, seven restaurants and 12 bars and lounges, while next-generation fuel cell technology is being considered to further reduce emissions while in port. Her first journeys will explore the Mediterranean during its quieter winter season before continuing east towards the Red Sea and Arabian Peninsula, offering Australian travellers an appealing new way to discover these regions at a more relaxed pace.

Explora V has been designed around space, calm and an ever-present connection to the sea. Expansive outdoor decks, ocean-facing public areas and an intimate guest-to-host ratio of 1.25 to one help create an atmosphere that feels considered rather than crowded.

Her December debut also brings a distinctive itinerary story, beginning among the softer light and quieter streets of the winter Mediterranean before moving towards the landscapes and cultures of the Middle East. At the top of the collection, the full-beam Owner’s Residence includes separate living, dining and sleeping spaces, a private steam room and a panoramic aft terrace with an infinity whirlpool.
