Celebrity Ascent Cruises

Celebrity Ascent, the fourth instalment in the Edge series offers more space and more luxury. Be welcomed to a place where you can escape and experience a whole new world. This creative design emphasises bringing the outside in with balconies and visionary spaces featuring new concepts to appreciate the ever-changing scenery. The Magic Carpet, the ship's cantilevered side platform, is its most recognisable feature. This versatile platform allows for quick embarkation and tendering, as well as an alfresco expansion of the Lido deck and "Dinner on the Edge" for 90 guests. Step aboard and be wowed by this transformative experience that blurs the lines between outdoor and indoor living.

The Edge Series ships offers the widest range of staterooms and suites in our fleet. The ship is suited for adults and friends who want to escape the norm. Following it's predecessor, the Ascent represents an entirely new approach to cruise ship engineering, features, and design. The Magic Carpet, Rooftop Garden, Solarium, and Resort Deck were designed by British architect Tom Wright (of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai fame). Read more

Balconies have evolved into "Infinite Verandas," which offer either a full-height glass view of the water's edge or, when closed, an outdoor 'French-balcony' and inside living area. The first option provides unobstructed sea views while also providing full air conditioning and 23% more floor space than other Solstice Class ships in the fleet. The ship is intended for people of all ages, from singles to multigenerational families (as it has many inter-connecting staterooms). Deck 2's expansive multi-purpose 'foyer' allows for quick embarkation and can be set up for lectures, teen activities, and conferences during the cruise. The Retreat, a suite-only enclave, has its own pool on the sundeck and adds a new level of style and sophistication, as well as personal butler service.

    Celebrity Ascent offers 29 dining options, including seven specialty restaurants. There are four main dining rooms (American, French, Italian, and seafood) with traditional two seating options or ‘any time’ dining. Luminae restaurant is forward in the Retreat, and exclusive to all suite guests, Blu dining is for AquaClass guests only. There are seven specialty dining venues, with a cover charge and by reservation only and menus include American, French, steak, seafood. Read more

    Specialty dining is complimentary to guests in higher stateroom categories. Room service is assured 24 hours a day with a limited menu of sandwiches, pizzas, salads and desserts. For casual meals there's a self-service buffet with multiple serving lines, and freshly-made pasta, grill, sushi and pizza. Eden is a 3-story rooftop garden-inspired restaurant with bar & lounge which serves grills during the day, and hosts a variety of functions throughout the day.Your taste buds will never be short of choice when it comes to food - Celebrity offer a wide range of 32 distinct food and beverage experiences, 8 specialty restaurants for cuisine from all over the globe, and many more dining experiences to suite every pallet.

For the men, the Craft Social Bar sells a vast selection of craft beers served by a certified cicerone design for the individuals taste. Ladies, the Dedicated Martini bar will serve all your needs and wants to quench your thirst.     Celebrity offer a wide range of entertainment on board from live interactive games, musicals and comedy shows. Though made for adults, the ship provides entertainment specifically for kids who come aboard, including a video arcade, library and teen lounge. During the day The Rooftop Garden hosts yoga and various games and activities and at night it morphs to offer live music and movie-and-meal pairing – “A Taste of Film”.     Also, expect street performers and live music ship-wide. During the day entertainment choices will range from games, art auctions, bingo, wine samplings and dance lessons, to educational presentations. Theme nights are often held in one of the lounges.

    Celebrity Cruises offer a wide range of activities and shore excursions for their guests - multiple options for every generation. The ships also have an adult sanctuary called "The Retreat," a rooftop garden with outdoor seating for music and movies, and a new speciality restaurant called the "Magic Carpet," which seats 90 people.
